Meet Colton
I’m Colton J. Porter — a U.S. military veteran, the founder of a Nebraska security and technology company, and a Hickman resident. I built that business the way I’d want our state run: answer the phone yourself, tell people the truth, keep your prices and your promises transparent, and never pass the buck when something goes wrong.
Nebraska has the only nonpartisan, one-house Legislature in the country — a system built to put people and ideas ahead of party games. I’m running for the Nebraska Unicameral to represent Legislative District 30 and protect that: to show up in every town, listen more than I talk, and fight for the families, farmers, and small businesses who make Gage County and southeast Lancaster County work.
I’ll keep campaign finances open to neighbors, too — see our Campaign Transparency page for an unofficial summary (not a government filing).
